Research Instrumentation
The main instrument that was used for data collection was questionnaire designed by the researcher. It was designed in a simple language to given room for easy comprehension the questionnaire were constructed and were administrate red on teachers.
The questionnaire was made of two sections, section of the questionnaire collected information on personal background of the respondents. These were local government of the school, sex, marital status, educational qualifications, age and teaching experience.
Section “B†consisted of the twenty two statement for teachers and were instructed to give their opinions on strongly Agreed (SA), Agreed (A), Disagree (D), and strongly disagreed (SD) the questionnaire was divided into sections under decision making, motivation, delegation, evaluation of teachers job performance and communication.
The questionnaire was given to my project supervisor for validation. After series of corrections and amendment on the instrument, the researcher arrived at the final form of instrument that is considered valid for the study. The research instrument was subjected to test retest reliability method. After two week, the researcher re-administered the same questionnaire to the same set of people. The result obtained in two tests were correlated using spearman ransoming order statistics. which gave the co-efficient of 0.87 which means the instrument was found to be highly reliable for the purpose for which it was prepared.
Data Analysis Technique
The research questions raised all translated to hypothesis. The hypotheses were tested using independent simple t-test at 0.05 level of significance. The data were analysed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). In addition, the results were presented using charts.
