CHAPTER FOUR
DATA ANALYSIS AND RESULT
This chapter presents the analysis of the data gathered in the study and the results of the analyses. Percentage computation, frequency count, t-test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were the statistical tools employed for data analysis in the study. The data were analyzed with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Science SPSS version 20 programme. All the hypotheses raised in the study were tested at the 0.05 alpha level.
Research Question 1
Does teachers’ attitude influence students’ academic performance in biology?
From table 1 it was revealed that majority (100%) of the teachers agreed to the instrument honestly and the response mode was that 55% Strongly Agree (SA)while 45% Agreed (A)that teachers’ attitude influence students’ academic performance in biology. This provide answer to research question one.
