      DATA PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS
      4.1    INTRODUCTION
The data collected for this study were analyzed statistically and presented in this chapter. The data collected were organized in consonance with the research questions on the questionnaire. This was followed by data analysis that resulted in some findings. The result of data collected by  the researcher through the use of questionnaire are therefore presented below.

Table 2 shows 15% of the respondents are in the building profession, 18.75% are in the engineering, 15% also are architects, 13.75% are quantity surveyors, 12.5% are land surveyors, 10% say they are estate surveyors and 15% say they are town planners.
While 16.25% of them have HND qualification. 43.75% have B.Sc/B.Eng qualification and 37.5% accepted they have M.Sc/PGD qualification. Only 2.5% of them say they are Ph.D holders.
We can therefore deduce that virtually all the professions in the construction industry are well represented and as such will elicit a uniform and unbiased response. Also a larger percentage of them are B.Sc/B.Eng. and M.Sc/PGD holders revealing that most of them are well educated and of course will generate mature and acceptable responses.

From table 3 above, while 68.75% of the respondents say they are in the private sector, only 31.25% say they are in the pubic sector. Also, 10% say they have been in the industry between the periods of 1-5years; 32.5% of them say they have worked within the period of 6-10years; 43.75% say they have been in the industry within the periods of 11- 20years; and 12.5% of them say theirs have been within 21-50years. Only 1.25% say they have spent 50years and above in the industry.
We can deduce from this that majority of our respondents are in the private sector, though a good percentage of them are equally in the public sector. Also it is obvious that majority of our respondents are quite experienced, since they have spent a good number of years in the industry. This however means that their responses will be quite acceptable.
