      Critical X2 AT 0.05 level of significance and df of 10 = 18.307 The hypotheses are stated as:
      HO :    The observance of safety and health procedure do not significantly control the rate and nature of accidents on construction sites.
      Hi    The observance of safety and health procedures do significantly control the rate and nature of accidents on construction sites.
      Decision:
      At a 0.05 level, the difference is significant if X2 with 10 degrees of freedom is above 18.307. The computed value of X2 = X2 = 20.7806 is bigger than the critical value, thus the null hypothesis is rejected while the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion is that the observance of safety and health procedure do significantly control the rate and nature of accidents on construction sites.
