1.2 OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
The main objective of the study is to examine the internal control in government transport institution.
And as mentioned in the introductory paragraph the internal control in government transport institution is to examine whether or not internal control system are incorporated in to the management of these prostates and if so, to what extent is the system made use for.
Also factors which militate against the efficiency.
1.3 SCOPE OF THE STUDY
This study is an attempt to examine and review the effectiveness of internal control system, its function characteristic and essential features, the role if plays in leading the management of government institutions will certainly be evaluated. The effect of internal control system on Business Corporation shall be critically looked into.
The researcher intends to be explicit enough on internal control in general and its significance organization, few types of government institution can be mentioned in chapter three.
Numerous problems which are found to be militating against effective operation of internal control system in the corporation is the thezine of chapter four.
However, chapter five shall finally give possible suggestion recommendation about this problem so as to have efficient internal control system in Kwara state transport corporation.
1.4 LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
This study is limited to the government establishment and no attempt is made dable in to federal establishment.
Cost of the materials to be used in this project also limits our attention on Kwara state transport corporation the writers are also limited to the information given to them in the process of the research.

i. APPRAISER:- This is method of assessing the performance of government transport institution
ii. CONSULTATIVE:- This involves finding out from the appraise about government transport institution on how he can improve.
