Table 4.6 shows that 80 (62% ) of the respondents strongly agreed that strategic planning enhances productivity in their organization while 24 ( 18.6% ) of the respondents agreed. Only 10 (7.8% ) and 10 (7.8% ) of the respondents belonged to the undecided and disagreed category respectively while 5 (3.9% ) of the respondents strongly disagreed.
Table 4.7 shows that 60 (46.5% ) of the respondents stron gly agreed that appropriate technologies d oes guarantee the implementation of strategic planning and 25 (19.4% ) of the respondents agreed. From the remaining respondents , 10 (7.8% ) were undecided, 30 (23.3% ) disagreed and 4 (3.1% ) strongly disagreed.
It is clear from table 4.8 that 60 (46.5% ) of the respondents were of the opinion that to a large extent, the strategic planning techniques are adequate. From the remaining respondents, 40 (31.0% ) opined that it is to a little extent and 29 (22.5% ) to no extent.
Table 4.9 shows that 70 (54.3% ) of the respondents were of the opinion that to a large extent, the strategic plans are effective. 30 (23.2% ) opined that it is to a little extent while 29 (22.5% ) said it is to no extent.
Table 4.10 shows that 70 (54.3% ) of the respondents strongly agreed that sound strategic planning does depend on effective use of manpower and 40 (31.0% ) of the respondents agreed. The remaining respondents, 10 (7.8% ) were undecided, 5 (3.9% ) disagreed and only 4 (3.1% ) of the respondents strongly disagreed to the statement.
