      RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
      3.0    Introduction
      In this chapter, the research work focuses on how the work was executed. It includes sources of data instrument used in data collection etc.
      3.1    The Design of the Study
      This research work w as designed to survey the role of strategic planning in the achievement of organizational goal.
      3.2    Population of the Study
      The population for the study consists of four small scale private firms in Awka SOUTH local Government Area of Anambra State which ha ve eighty (80) as their total number of staff.
      3.3    Sampling Design and Technique
      The sample for the study consist of the opinions of sixty -seven
      (67) staff of the organizations use d which was obtained through the use of Yaro Yamen Formula: that is
