      Level of significance = 0.5
To determine the critical value of X 2 from appendix 1 of business research methodology by John Orji.
      X 2 critical = 3.841
Therefore to compare the two values X 2 critical  = 3.841
      X 2 calculated = 22.3
      X 2 calculated is > X 2 critical 22.3 > 3.841.
      Decision Reject null Hyp othesis
Since the calculated value is greater than the critical value, the researcher accepts alternative hypothesis which says that the use of strategic planning in the achievement of an organizational goal is faced with many hindrances.
