    • 3.4     The study area
      This study was conducted in Ilorin the capital of Kwara State which is situated between the Southern and Northern Nigeria. The state is one of the thirty six (36) states making up the country and its population is estimated to be about 2.5 million people. The study was carried out in the major city within Ilorin metropolis where the MTN Service Provider of the Global System Mobile (GSM) telecommunication giant resided in Kwara State.
      3.5    Population of the Study
      The population of this study consists of respondents from Managers/Supervisors and Customers of the selected Service Provider in Mobile TELECOM indusrty in Ilorin West Local Government area of Kwara State (MTN) at Taiwo Ilorin. The target population was 460 employees of MTN Nigeria in some selected outlets in Kwara state and MTN Headquarter in Ilorin. However, the total sample size drawn from the total was 210, which comprises of 4 Managerial staff, 19 Supervisors and 187 employees.
      3.6    Sampling Techniques
      A sample size of 210 comprising managers, supervisors and employees formed the respondents for the study. Stratified and simple random sampling techniques will be used to select the respondents whereby the employees shall be stratified according to their designation. In addition to the stratified sampling, the selection of the respondents shall be based on purposive sampling where data would be collected from respondents who have suitable information.
      3.7    Sample Size Determination
      The study adopted two (2) sampling techniques which include, Purposive, and stratified sampling techniques. Asika, (2010) explained that an appropriate sample size is important to research reliability, validity and for complete of the population characteristics in the sample statistics. The study shall made use of 210 respondents consist of both employees and Managers of the sampled Mobile TELECOM company determined through the use of the following statistical formula adopted and adapted from Kreijcie& Morgan, (1970).
