a. Dependent Variable: Organizational Performance
b. Predictors: (Constant), SWOT Analysis, Ideas harvest, Scoping exercise & Process Mapping
The analysis of variance table (Anova) showed regression sum of square value of (164.959) which is higher than the residual sum of square value of (25.522). This implies that the model accounted for most of the variations in the dependent variable. More so, the F calculated value of (331.252) is greater than the tabulated value of (1.96) indicating a significant relationship. In addition, the significant value of P (0.000) is smaller than (0.05) which means that the independent variable (Specific Change Models/Techniques) to a high extent accounted for the variations in the dependent variable (Organizational performance). Hence, we posited that the individual specific change models/techniques is positively related to Organizational Performance.
a. Dependent Variable: Organizational Performance
Regression analysis was employed to predict the most effective of the four specific change models/techniques used in the sampled TELECOM industry that enhances Organizational performance. The result of the findings indicated that SWOT Analysis followed by the Scoping exercise were the two successful techniques/strategies with beta-coefficients (0.759 and 0.185) that were constantly used effectively to enhance organizational performance and the other two (Ideas harvest and Process Mapping) with beta-coefficient 0.074 and 0.012 respectively were not constantly used by the company, thus positively related but statistically insignificant and therefore posited that there are significant effects of change management strategies on the Organizational performance of MTN Nigeria. Also if peradventure predictors are all zero, meaning that all the specific change models/techniques are not adequately employed by the company (i.e. the value becomes 0) and the Organizational performance might reduce by 11.5% (Intercept, c = -0.115) as a result of non-flexibility of the organization to quickly react and adapt to external realities in today’s competitive and dynamic business environment.
