Interpretation of Atterberg Consistency Limit Results
The results of Atterberg consistency limits carried out on the sample gave plasticity index of 26.3% and linear shrinkage of 5.6% which can therefore be used to classify the sample according to Holtz and Cubbs (1936), (Table 5), as having a little volume change potential.
