ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
4.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter deal with the presentation and analysis of results obtained during the tests of the wood wool cubes. The mechanical test carried out in the Civil Engineering laboratory, Kwara State Polytechnic, Department of Civil Engineering; and the physical test was also carried out in Civil Engineering Laboratory. Kwara State Polytechnic. The results of the tests are tabulated in the tables below.
Please note that samples 1, 2, 3 in all the table represent ratio 2:1:1:1 and 2:1:1; while samples 4, 5, 6 in all the tables represent ratios 1:1:1:1 and 1:1:1.
4.2 ANALYSIS OF RESULTS
4.2.1 UNIT DENSITY TEST OF CUBES
The unit densities of the cubes were obtained by dividing the dry unit weight of the cubes by the density of the cubes. Hence, the results are tabulated in tables 4A and 4B respectively:
