CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
5.0 CONCLUSION
The objective of the project is to determine the investigation into the operation of different transport agency in Kwara State. Form the analysis, it show majority of people strongly agreed that fuel is the main factor that affect the operation cost of vehicle, also fuel is major sources in every aspect of vehicle operation for educational purpose, industrial, business and recreational activities, followed by vehicle maintenance of Kwara Express, Kasmag, young legacy and emirates services transport section, also bad road make the vehicle to be in bad condition by damaging the tyres, brake pad and distance covered by the vehicle. While least percentage is poor organization which may lead to failure or collapse of the organization. These are illustrated in the figure 9a and 9b of chapter four of this project.
5.1 RECOMMENDATION
Having highlighted the major factor that affect the operation cost in the area such as fuel, bad road, etc and in line with the study carried out, the following recommendation are made to ensure smooth running of the operation.
• Government and management of Kwara Poly should Endeavour to store up fuel in reservoirs for at least 6 months.
• Good road have to be provide by government with adequate maintenance through organized road maintenance agency for federal, state and local roads respectively.
• The staffs management of motor pack should be enlightened on the issue, purpose of toll payments.
• Government and management of Kwara State Poly ensure a recommended warehouse for vehicle part within the area
• There should be a recommended place for vehicle maintenance and service for each kind of vehicle they are using.
