4.5 TRAFFIC CHARACTERISTICS
4.5.1 AVERAGE TRAFFIC VOLUME
Average traffic volume: this is the total number of vehicles and pedestrians that pass a point on highway facilities during a specific period of time. Also Average Traffic Volume mean Average Daily Traffic (ADT) is the average of 24 hours counts collected over a number of day greater than I but less than a year.
The average traffic volume is been show on Egbejila road in Ilorin west local government.
