3.0 INTRODUCTION OF STUDY AREA /SITE SELECTION
The overall success and efficiently of any community amenity like the primary health centre depends not only on a careful choice of gift. The orientation of the site includes the relationships of the site to its immediate neighbouring environment. The site is suitable oriented to its immediate vicinity by making sure that its located in a considerably accessed area to the fastest point that need is services.
3.1 SITE LOCATION
Odo-Owa is located in Oke-ero local government, Kwara State, Nigeria. Its situated in Ijero, Ondo state Nigeria. Its geographical coordinates are 70 531 0†north, 50 4’ 0†East and its original name is odo-owa.
The approximate population for odo-owa is 7km radius from this point 44340. It has social amenities like primary and secondary schools, market places, road network and electricity etc
3.2 SITE LOCATION CRITERIA
- Location is centralized for users with in the community.
- Easily accessible for all users
- Adequate Parking space to cater for long and short speakers.
- Availability of infrastructure e.g water supply, electricity e.t.c
