This project work examined the ATTITUDE OF COUPLE TOWARD MODERN FAMILY PLANNING PRACTICE IN BIRNIN GWARI, BIRNIN GWARI LOCAL GOVERNMENT, KADUNA STATE. It also informed the health officers on the attitude of couple towards modern family planning in the study area. Among the objectives is to identify the attitude of couple toward modem family planning in Brinin Gwari.
Furthermore, to investigate misconception that prevents the use of modem family planning among couple in Birnin Gwari. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample 52 residence of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 52 questionnaires were distributed out of which 43 were retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made Couple of reproductive age varied in their responses to attitude to and practice of modern family planning methods, therefore, there is need to expand and intensify education on modern family planning programmes to adequately cater for widows of reproductive age in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State so as to bridge the existing gaps
