      SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATION
      5.1    Summary
The research work shows that there is a lot of need when it comes to communication between the lecturers and students.
The student chat information system significantly affects the information awareness of students, since the objective is to improve the relationship and spread information to enhance wide access to learning irrespective of the location and time.
The design was inspired by modern technology aimed to construct a basic framework. It modelled the Computer science department, where the student can take courses online, submit assignments and get study materials. The system is user friendly with titles and navigation details on each interface, the interfaces are well designed with consistent layouts.
Furthermore,    the    research    work    revealed    that  lecturer/student    relationship    is    an important factor in teaching/learning situations, because the quality of the relationship which subsist between the lecturers and students determines the extent at which student learn and the improves their academic achievement as well.
      5.2    Conclusion
Basically, it has been observed that a good number of students live far away from their schools as well as workers who find it necessary to obtain higher education degrees, for further employment and most students find it a bit difficult to interact with their lecturers due to shyness resulting in a high percentage of failure.
The main objective of any lecturer is to maximize student’s performance; this can be attained by the utilization of an information system. The proposed system as designed is easy to use and tackles the problem of interaction, it will assist lecturers in processing information and getting prompt feedback at any location, help students access up-to-date information and submit home assignments online, and also improve students’ self esteem and confidence by giving them freedom to participate in discussion and publish their
      views on any topic.
In conclusion, the student chat information system will minimize poor communication between lecturers and students to realize more exciting and flexible learning experiences.
      5.3    Recommendation
By institutions implementing this system, it will help them become more resourceful and avoid inconvenience that could be caused due by some misguided information disseminated.
