The study investigated the impact of financial institution on the economic development (a case study of zenith bank Ile-Ife). The purpose of this study is to examine on how financial institution improves on the economic development in Nigeria. Four questions were raised for the sake of the research while two hypotheses were also generated and tested to ascertain that this stated objective were contributed immensely to the improvement of the financial institution on the economic development in Nigeria. A random sample sampling technique was used to select fifty(50) respondents used for the study.
The target populations were staff of zenith bank in Ile-Ife. Descriptive survey research design was adopted in carrying out this study. The questionnaire were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), t-test statistical tool, percentage, frequency distribution and table. Analysis of variance was adopted in testing null hypotheses was employed in testing the null hypotheses. Both primary and secondary sources of data were collected through field survey. The research questions of bio data for respondents were answered by using simple percentage frequency were used to answer the general questions for the study.
