The research examined the impact of using visualization tools in learning compared to traditional methods, and also investigated the availability and awareness of these tools among teachers in secondary schools. Conducted in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the study employed a survey method with convenience sampling, involving 165 participants including teachers and students. Data was collected mainly through questionnaires, with 150 responses validated for analysis.
Analysis utilized descriptive statistics such as percentages, frequencies, and tables. The findings indicate a positive influence of information visualization tools on students' academic performance, highlighting a significant difference between learning with and without these tools. The study recommends that teachers promote the use of interactive web-based learning tools, monitor visualization closely, and ensure detailed guidance for accurate results.
