    • This research project is primarily intended to evaluate the impact of social studies education on the behaviour of secondary school students in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State. In the process of achieving a successful evaluation of social studies behavioural impact, the term; social studies was explained as well as its aims, goals and objectives. Other concepts which also attracted attention included education, aims of education, learning and behaviour, as well as secondary school students. Beside these, the behaviour of secondary school students was examined and further attracted insight for significant changes as a result of their later social studies impact.

      This will cut across positive and negative if any. This work is treated in five chapters according to their inter-relatedness. For instance; chapter one deals with the introduction, statement of the problem, objectives of the study, the scope, research questions, hypothesis, and significance, limitations of the study and definition of terms. The literature review of chapter two has been mentioned above. 

      In chapter three, we have the research methodology, design, area, population of the study, sample and sampling techniques, data collection techniques, instrument for data collection, validation and reliability of the instrument and data analysis. In chapter four, we have data presentation and analysis as well as the discussion of findings. The fifth chapter bears summary/conclusion, recommendations and also, the bibliography.
