Testing of Hypothesis
From the table 41 above, items 1-4 are the t-test analysis on variables that are directly related to the influence of the physical environment of the School on students’ academic performance in Secondary Schools in Ilorin West Local Government Area. The calculated values of t-value of 2.067, 1.052, 0.762 and 1.131 at 249 degree of freedom were obtained as against 4.692, 3.117, 2965 and 2.788 calculated t-values respectively for each of the variables. Since the calculated t-values are less than the respective table values, therefore, hypothesis one (H1) is accepted.
Similarly, in table 42, t-test analysis on variables relating the influence of the physical environment of Urban Secondary Schools on Students’ Academic Performance indicated that the calculated t-value of 1.01 was obtained as against a table value of 2.96 at 249 degree of freedom. This clearly pointed that the calculated t value is less than the table value. As a result, hypothesis two (H2) is therefore, accepted.

ABSRACT - [ Total Page(s): 1 ]ABSTRACTThe academic performance of students is associated with several factors of which the physical environment of the school is a vital factor. Understanding this influence and the degree of impact is significant in devising means of improving the learning outcome of Students. This underlying phenomenon formed the basis for the conduct of a study in Ilorin Local Government Area (LGA). The study evaluated the influence of the School’s physical environment on academic performance of Stud ... Continue reading---
