Research Design;
Population of the study
Sample and Sampling Techniques
Research Instruments
Validity and Reliability of the Instruments
Procedure for Data Collection
Method of Data Analysis
3.1 Research Design
This is a descriptive research for which the survey method would be used with of questionnaire. It is used by the researcher for the purpose of establishing the relationship which exists between teacher’s qualification and students’ academic performance in Ijumu secondary schools in Kogi state.

E.g. strongly agree (SA) agree (A), disagree (D) strongly disagree (SD).
3.4 Validity of the instrument
Validity refers to the appropriateness courage and usefulness of the instrument employed. The questionnaire would be given to the education researcher and supervisor to check for the content and validity. This is to ascertain if the questionnaire contained adequate sample of the domain of content of area of study.
