    • Teachers also face some stresses in the teaching environment as pointed out by (Adebara 2009). He said school counselors have a role to play in resolving these stresses that affects their teaching effectiveness. Other problems related to educational factors that demand for guidance services include;
      1.    Truancy
      2.    Records keeping in school continuous assessment
      3.    Selection and placement of students.
      4.    Students' disciplinary problems in all levels.
          Okoro 2007 asserted that guidance and counseling within the educational institutions is to assist children and youths in their educational pursuit. He further explained that guidance services must help individual to grow itself understanding, develop capacities for wise and realistic educational and vocational decision, overcoming personality, maladjustment and work towards realizing chosen education plans.
      Adebara (2009) identified two reasons why guidance and counseling programme is necessary in the technical schools.
      1.    That guidance provides students with a wide variety of information about themselves, their education, social and vocational opportunities.
      2.    It focuses on the development of the child going through the normal process of growing up in a complex cultural and largely incomprehensible universe. A perplexing area of concern, which requires effective guidance, is the successive experience of moving from one school to another.
      Durajaiye (2007) Believed that successful education in the informal setting or in the formal setting of the school, psychology guidance is necessary. Through purposeful guidance, the child's early attempt at learning.
      This normal training, social development and intellectual growth are also given correct orientation.
      STRATEGIES FOR MOTIVATING FEMALE STUDENTS TO BE ENROLLED IN TECHNICAL SCHOOLS.
      Many researcher like Ogalanga 2005, Aina 2007, Anunnu 2008,oserved that the prevailing youth unemployment in the country stems from uncoordinated, unplanned and inadequate vocational training and unequal opportunities for skill acquisition. While (Ogalange 2005) asserted that unemployment under achievement in academic work, low skill acquisition and poor job performance has become common features among graduates of vocational technical institutions. An environment characterized by poor school climate and inadequate pedagogical and curriculum delivery does not motivate learning.
      One of the strategies to adopt to raise the zeal of the students towards technical education in participative classroom management. The students is to learn by being involved in the planning and organizing of the teaching and learning activities. Secondly, students need to be oriented and re-oriented towards developing positive philosophy towards vocational and technical schools.
      At this period of technological advancement, parents and society at large do not seem to motivate students enough towards choosing subject that would tailor their skill towards entrepreneurship technological advancement. Many parents prefer their children to study arts subjects, so long as they came out as university graduates, instead of allowing them to attend any vocational or technical institution to develop their potential being self-employed. Proper orientation that would make students see the important of this type of education is not given to them. Today there is an overpopulation of students with limited facilities for university education. Little emphasis is laid on vocational and technical education.
