    • CHAPTER THREE
      RESAERCH METHOD
      This chapter with the research design, population of the study, sample and sampling techniques, research instrument, validity and reliability of the instrument, procedure for data collection, method of data Analysis.
      RESEARCH DESIGN
      The research design used in collecting data is the survey design.
      POPULATION OF THE STUDY
      The population for this comprised of all the teachers, students and principal in Erin Ile Technical School.
      SAMPLE AND SAMPLING TECHNIQUES
      Due to large number of parents, teachers and students in Erin Ile Technical School Oyun Local Government Area, it is not possible to involve all parents, teachers and students. The random sampling Technique was used to select 80 respondents out of 180 for the study.
      RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
      The instrument used for data collection was a structure questionnaire. The questionnaire was for teachers, students and principal.
      The questionnaire comprises of four section A, B, C and D. section A consist of personal data Containing six items, section B was on societal influence containing Six items, section C was on cultural/traditional influence Containing six items, section D was on religious influence Containing three and all the items are closed ended requiring: strongly agree, agree, undecided, disagree, strong disagree response.

      VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY OF THE INSTRUMENT.
      After drawing the questionnaire, the instrument was taken to the research project supervisor to determine the free validity of the instrument. The comment and observation was incorporated into final draft this gave the instrument face content validity.
      A test -retest reliability was used to ascertain the consistency of the instrument administered to some teachers, students and principal of Erin Ile Technical School Kwara state.
      PROCEDURE FOR DATA COLLECTION
      The researcher met with respondent, in their various classes and offices and distributed the questionnaire to them and collected the questionnaire immediately after completion
      METHOD OF DATA ANALYSIS
      The mean statistics was used to analyze the responses of the respondents. The mean of each item was interpreted in relation to the real limit of values assigned to the responses categories of the instrument.
       The mean was used for drawing conclusion on each items of the questionnaire. In order to determine the acceptance or rejection level of each item on the questionnaire, a decision rule based on real limit of number was used as follow.
