      PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS OF DATA AND DISCUSSION
      This chapter deals with presentation, data analysis, interpretation and discussion of data collected through the use of questionnaire on factors influencing low enrolment of female students in Erin Ile Technical School in Oyun Local Government Area, Kwara State. Four research questions are discussed as follows in this chapter. Descriptive statistic of percentage and mean rating were used to answer all the research questions.
      ANSWERING RESEARCH QUESTIONS   
      Three research hypotheses were raised; research question 1 to 3 has corresponding hypotheses and was answered with the use of descriptive statistic of percentage and mean rating.
      Research Question 1: Does social factor affect low enrolment of female students in Erin Ile Technical School?
      To answer the above research question, data collected from questionnaire items on the social factor affect low enrolment of female students was used in table 1, using descriptive statistic of mean.


      Table 1 shows that 83.8% of the respondents agreed that people see technical education as education for male students while the remaining respondents disagreed with the statement. Also, 35% of the respondents agreed that men don’t like to marry female technical teachers as wives while 65% of the respondents disagreed with the statement. Moreso, 83.8% majority of the respondents were of the opinion that parents and teachers are not encouraging female students participating in technical education while the remaining respondents disagreed. Meanwhile, 51.3% majority of the respondents were of the opinion that males ridicule females of technical education while the remaining respondents disagreed. Also, 67.5% majority of the respondents were of the opinion that People view technical education as limited to roadside mechanics and carpentry while the remaining respondents disagreed. Furthermore, 66.3% majority of the respondents were of the opinion that there are no challenges from the female students competing with their male counterparts. The cumulative overall means score of 3.29 of the respondents which was above the benchmark of 2.50 clearly shows that social factor affect low enrolment of female students in Erin Ile Technical School.
