    •  RECOMMENDATIONS
          From the findings and conclusions of this study, the following recommendations were made:
      1.    Payment of study allowance for female technical education students.
      2.    Provision of employment for female technical education graduates immediately after study.
      3.    Provision of scholarship to the best female technical graduates to study abroad.
      4.    The general public should change their attitude and perception on technical education programmes.
      5.    Technical education professionals such as teachers and lecturers should organized awareness campaign programme on how to improve female participation in technical education programmes for parents, girls, and members of the society.
      6.    Technical education professionals should organize occupational and vocational counselling programme for girls.
      7.    Parents should encourage their female children to study technical courses.
      8.    Child care facilities should be provided in educational institutions.
      9.    Government should adequately fund technical education programmes in educational institutions.
      10.    Technical education curriculum should be free from gender biased
      11.    Government should employ more female technical education teachers.
