It can be seen from the Table 6 that the response of respondents on the factors that motivate them the most. 40% of the respondent indicated that Salary motivate them the most. % of the respondent indicated that they promotion motivates them the most. 4% of the respondent indicated that going on leave motivates them the most. 22% of the respondent indicated that motivational talks motivate them the most. 11% of the respondent indicated it being recognized motivates them the most. We can conclude from the table that the tor that motivates the teachers most is salary, followed by promotion. And the least factor motivates them is leave.
Research question 3: What are the factors that contribute to teacher’s jobs satisfaction?
Section one on how they feel in the working environment as teachers’ questionnaire were scored in such a way that when a respondent ticks “ Excellentâ€, the respondent is scored 4, “Good†is scored 3, while “Satisfactory†is scored 2 and “Not satisfactory†is scored 1. The resulting scored are added up to build a measure on how they
feel in the working environment as teacher. Table 4.7 below presents a set of descriptive on how they feel in the working environment as teacher.
