Statistics in Table 3 shows that 59 (57.8.5%) respondents had served between 1-10 years, 24 (23.53%) had served as a teacher in the range 10 -19 years, 8 (7.84%) served between 20-29 years while 11 (10.78%) had served 30 years and above. Therefore, they were in a better position to provide information about the effect on the government, community and private sectors on early child education in Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The details in fig 1 indicate that 42, (41.18%) hold NCE/ND, 7 (6.86%) are HND/PGDE holders, 50 (49.02%) are B.A/B.Sc. Ed holders while 3 (2.94%) indicated they were with masters degree holders. It is worth mentioning that qualification of the teaching staff is the key to fostering promotion and better attainment of quality at every level of education, including the high quality provision of Early Childhood Education. The summary shows that, teachers in Ilorin south local government are of high quality because about 60% hold either HND/Degree, or Masters’ Degree from various disciplines.
