      RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
      Introduction
      This chapter explained the method used by the researcher in carrying out  this study; the chapter is devoted to explain the methodology employed in  carrying out this study
      The following sub-headings are highlighted.
      a.     Research Type
      b.     Instrumentation
      c.     Population, sample and sampling Techniques
      d.     Procedure for data collection.
      e.    Method of data analysis
      Research Type
      This study is essentially a descriptive survey research design. According to Burns and Dobson (1981) description survey aims to estimating as precisely as possible the attributes of population.
      Population, Sample and Sampling Techniques
      This is determined through a random selection of sixty (60) Students from six (6) schools in Abeokuta North Local Government Area Ogun State Nigeria.
      In the study, the researcher made use of random sampling techniques to select six (6) schools, thirty (30) females learners and thirty (30) males learners while three (3) schools were chosen in the rural area with thirty (30) females learners and thirty (30) males learners in three (3) schools in urban area respectively.
      The rationale of sampling is that population may be too large to handle by the researcher. The researcher is of the opinion that the sample is a representative of the entire population in order to arrive conclusion which can be applied to the whole population.
      Instrumentation
      The research instruments used in this study is a structured questionnaire prepared for the purpose of data collection. They are of two types, one was completed by the female and other by male learners. The questionnaire is divided into sections,. section (A) requested for personal data while section (B) contained statements to be responded to.
      Procedure for Data Collection
      In carrying out this Study the researcher results to the use of questionnaire. The questionnaire is a structured type that enables the respondent’s options to choose from. The research visited all schools involved to administer it. This was made possible through the assistance of school authorities by organizing both the male and female learners on which the questionnaire was administered. After brief introduction respondent were given the questionnaire to respond and that produce 100% response as there was immediate feedback. Besides, the researcher did interact with both the female and male learners to obtain information.
          This become necessary so as to ascertain if the respondent really understood the content of the questionnaire.
      Methods of Data Analysis
      Data were analyzed in a way to provide information on research question formulated to guide the study. The frequency count the percentage techniques were used to analysis the data. The questionnaire will serve as main basis on which the data of this research work is analyzed. The information will be analyzed in tabular form with the number of respondents and their percentage.
