Research Question 2: Does parents’ teachers’ association help
to recruit part-time teachers in case of insufficient?
Table 2: PTA in Recruitment of Part-Time Teachers
Table 2 shows that 81% of the respondents agreed that Parents Teachers Association employs part-time teachers on subject that have no teachers employed by the government while the remaining respondents disagreed with the statement. Also, 66% of the respondents agreed that Parents Teachers Association pays salaries of the teacher they employed while 34% of the respondents disagreed with the statement. More so, 69% majority of the respondent was of the opinion that Parents Teachers Association encourages teachers in school to perform their duties effectively. In summary, majority of the respondents (67.3%) supported the view that does parents’ teachers’ association help to recruit part-time teachers in case of insufficient while (32.7%) did not. This implies that parents’ teachers’ association help to recruit part-time teachers in case of insufficient.
