Research Question 5: Does indiscipline in Secondary Schools largely due to lack of cooperation between parents and school authorities?
Table 5 shows that 82% of the respondents agreed that lack of discipline in secondary school can be attributed to lack of cooperation between parents and school authorities while the remaining respondents disagreed with the statement. Also, 81% of the respondents agreed that Parents Teachers Association settle disputes between the students and the staff while 19% of the respondents disagreed with the statement. Moreso, 60% majority of the respondent was of the opinion that schools with strong PTA are less to riot than those without Parents Teachers Association. In summary, majority of the respondents (69.3%) supported the view that does indiscipline in secondary schools is largely due to lack of cooperation between parents and school authorities while (30.7%) did not.This implies that indiscipline in secondary school largely due to lack of cooperation between parents and school authorities.
