Table 3 revealed that the p-value is 0.000 while the level of significance is 0.05. Thus, the level of significance is greater than the p-value. Since the p-value is less than the level of significance, the hypothesis which states that there is no significant relationship between professional development programmes and teachers’ effectiveness in Ilorin-west Local Government Area secondary schools, Kwara state is therefore rejected. Hence there is significant relationship between professional development programmes and teachers’ effectiveness in Ilorin-west Local Government Area secondary schools, Kwara state.
Operational Hypotheses
Research Hypothesis One: There is no significant relationship between attendance of higher education and teachers’ effectiveness in Ilorin-west Local Government Area secondary schools, Kwara state.
