      In the light of the foregoing discussion it is hereby recommended that.
      1.    School management should ensure that teachers in both public and private schools attend educational conferences, seminars in order to improve on their teaching skills   so as to be effective and efficient.
      2.    The teachers in private and public schools need motivation particularly those in public schools for improvement and this should be provided by the government with all the necessary incentives such as adequate salaries, good working conditions and other fringe benefits that compare favourably with what obtains in other professions and private schools.
      3.    Effective interpersonal communication should exist between the school authority and the students.
      4.    There should be an organized programme for diagnosis of needs and counseling of students in public and private schools.
      5.    Students should be involved in decision making in schools.
      6.    Open school climate where there is high degree of trust and low disengagement should be developed and adopted.
      7.    Principals should make sure that teachers teach the students accordingly.
      8.    Government should intensify its efforts in monitoring learning achievement in the types of schools and likewise provide schools with adequate facilities so as to enhance the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of teachers in Nigerian secondary schools.
      9.    Educational planners and administrators in the Ministry of Education as well as corporate organizations and individuals should be encouraged by the government to monitor and supervise effectively the educational activities that go on in public and private schools in Oyo State.
      10.    Students’ welfare in all ramifications should be adequately taken care of as it is done to children in every responsible home.
