APPRAISAL OF RELATED LITERATURE REVIEWED.
This study has digged deep into the investigation of the influence of computer education on the administrative performance of public secondary schools in Orelope Local Government Area, Oyo state. Various aspects of the public secondary school administration were well examined. The study in a large extent examined the influence of computer education on selected aspects of administration such as the use of spreadsheet, data base, teaching and learning among others.
The researcher was able to summarized all findings in this study. Adewoyin (2003) sees computer as an electronic device which can receive appropriate information and is cable of processing output available as designed. Computer education can be seen as an electronic device for accepting and processing data to give information. In this study, administration of secondary school in Oorelope Local Government Area, Oyo state out across various administrative functions such as planning, organizing, directing, budgeting and decision making. In conclusion, the role of computer education was investigated as it was involved in the process of carrying out the above listed of carrying out the above listed functions.
