Principals Decision Making Strategies And Secondary School Teacher’s Effectiveness

Close examination of the table 2 revealed that that 70 representing 70% of the respondent were of the opinion the principal takes his own decision on what to use the school for. 65 respondents representing 65% were of the opinion that the principal punished erring students most of the time. The table also indicate that 60 representing 60% of the respondent opined that principal were not considerate in his decision making was unsympathetic in nature . 55 and 25 representing 55% and 25% respectively stated that principal strategies of decision making were autocratic and one and democratic in nature.
However some of the respondents disagree with almost all the statement item. Of a whole 70 representing 70% of the respondent stated that the principal takes his own decision on what to use the school fund for this shows that principal decision were autocratic in nature.
