      5.1    Summary of the Investigation
The research work has shown the application of technology in teaching and learning Geography in Nigeria secondary schools with a particular reference to the selected secondary schools in Ondo West Local Government, Ondo State.
From the findings of the study, it revealed that the teachers are exposed to new technologies but most of which are not available for teaching geography in schools. On the path of the student, the students are not exposed as well in the learning of geography. Also, lack of appropriate skills and cost of utilization ranked highest as a contributory factor for not using the available technologies in teaching geography
      5.2    Recommendation
In the light of the findings in the study, a lot of recommendations could be made below are those that the researcher believes will be of tremendous use in order to promote the use of modern technologies in teaching geography in secondary schools in the country the following recommendations were suggested.
All categories of teachers must have access to and familiar with the new technologies. Future training and development in ICT should focuses on its applications and benefits for the teacher’s and students and not simply on how to use them
The government should make computer and related assessments so that as many schools as possible are able to purchase them where poverty level are high, the government should do note computer and other new technology to the schools and initiate sustainable technology projects.
The present mode of training in Nigeria i.e training teachers in the use of ICT resources before making it available to them on day to day basis should be discourage as it will not  yield any positive result government should come out with on ICT policy and must be backed up financially.
Additionally, to make a success out of this program better facilities like steady supply of electricity must be ensured. The present erratic power supply for technologies advancement.
Finally, all stakeholders in geography need to intervene to ensure that teaching and learning of geography with the integration of new technology provided for the centre in adequate and sufficient quantities.
      5.3    Conclusion
The study concluded that the teachers are exposed to the new technologies but majority of them do not have access to it. Also majority of the schools in Saki West Local Government and learning of geography and few schools that have computers do not use them for geography education lack of technical know how is also contribution factor from net using technologies in geography.
      5.4    Suggestion for the research.
This study has attempted to focus on the technology teacher access to and the use of Information Technology in teaching and learning geography in Nigerian secondary school.  A case study of selected secondary school in Saki West Local Government, Saki,Oyo State, Nigeria. However, it has attempted to cover all the grounds in investigating the influence of technology application in teaching geography in Nigerian secondary schools but that of technological application so, in a broad manner, the influence of technology application in teaching and learning of geography in Nigerian secondary school could be a form of research to other researchers who are of interest in the field
Secondly, it needs to be pointed out that the study was limited to the selected schools in Saki West Local Government, Ondo State. Such study should be relocated other fields, and other secondary schools in this country.
Thirdly, other researcher may look into the problems and prospects of technology application in Nigerian secondary schools in different areas of the country
Finally, further studies could be concentrated on technological methods of teaching Geography and the mode of using ICT resources in teaching and learning environment.
