3.5 Research Instrument
Questionnaire is a universal instrument use across several fields of study for research. It is reliable, flexible and used universally. The instrument used for the study was questionnaire tagged the impact of school records on the administration and management of senior secondary school.
The instrument was constructed by the research in line with the objective of the study
2.6 Validity of the Instrument
The instrument was validated by the project supervisor. The questionnaire was constructed by the researcher, necessary conditions were made by the supervisor and affected as indicated.
3.7 Reliability of the Instrument
Questionnaire is a universal use across several fields of study for research. It is also reliable, flexible and universally recognized.
3.8 Method of Data Administration and Data Collection
The instruments were personally administered by the researcher. The researcher took the prepared questionnaire to each of the school selected, distributed to the teachers to fill and turn immediately.
Method of Data Analysis
The data collected were analyzed using percentage scores and tables were constructed for that purpose. The questionnaire was constructed for senior secondary school teachers. Firstly, researcher determine the percentage response of each teacher. Secondly, the data were analyzed on the basis of the research questions which had earlier been mentioned in chapter one of this research project. The percentage scores on the respondent on the items were summed up and percentage was found of positive response and negative response.
