    • This study was carried out to examine the management of instructional facilities and teachers job effectiveness in public senior secondary school, Lagos State Education District v. the study specifically aimed at determining if there is an adequate provision of instructional facilities in public senior secondary school, Lagos State Education District V.; finding out whether the available instructional facilities are effectively managed and maintained in public senior secondary school, Lagos State Education District V.; determining whether the management of instructional facilities significantly influences teachers class room effectiveness; ascertaining whether teachers contribute significantly to the management of instructional facilities in public senior secondary school, Lagos State Education District V.; and ascertaining whether there is a significant relationship between the management of instructional facilities and teachers performance in public senior secondary school, Lagos State Education District V. The survey design was adopted and the simple random sampling techniques were employed in this study. 


      The population size comprised of teachers in some selected public senior secondary schools located in Lagos State Education District v. In determining the sample size, the researcher conveniently selected 160 respondents and 150 were validated. Self-constructed and validated questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected and validated questionnaires were analyzed using frequency tables, while the hypotheses was tested using Pearson Correlation Statistical tool, SPSS v23. The result of the findings reveals that journalists encounter problems in their effort at sustaining democracy in the present democratic dispensation. The findings also reveals that there is a significant relationship between the management of instructional facilities and teachers performance in public senior secondary school, Lagos State Education District V. Therefore, it is recommended that holistic approach to facility management should be adopted such that all stakeholders become involved in the provision, utilization and maintenance of the facilities. And training programmes on maintenance and utilization should be organized for handlers of facilities by the ministries of education or concerned authority. To mention but a few
