      DATA ANALYSIS AND RESULTS
      This chapter presents the result of data analysis and summary of the findings on teachers’ quality and students’ academic performance in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area Secondary Schools, Oyo State. In this section, the data collected were analyzed using both descriptive statistics of frequency counts and percentages for demographic data of the respondents while the main hypothesis and the operational hypotheses generated were tested using inferential statistics of Pearson product moment correlation statistic at 0.05 level of significance
      Demographic Data of the Respondents
      This section presents the results of data obtained from the respondents in frequency counts and percentages.

      Table 1 indicated that 150 respondents participated in the study out of which 56.7%  of the respondents were male while 43.3% of the respondents were female. This shows that male respondents constituted the majority that took part in the study.

      Table 2 indicated that all the 150 respondents participated in the study which represent 100% were class teachers.
