Ho1: There is no significant relationship between teachers’ academic qualifications and students’ academic performance in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area Secondary Schools, Oyo State
As shown in Table 6, the calculated r-value of .312 is greater than the critical r- value of .195 at .05 level of significance for 148 degrees of freedom. The null hypothesis which states that there is no significant relationship between teachers’ academic qualifications and students’ academic performance in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area Secondary Schools, Oyo State was rejected. Therefore, significant relationship existed between teachers’ academic qualifications and students’ academic performance in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area Secondary Schools, Oyo State This means that teachers’ academic qualifications determine students’ academic performance.
