This study is on the impact of effective management through language communication in an organization. Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku was used as a study. The research sample for this work consists of staff members (both Academic and Non-Academic) from sixteen (16) departments of the Polytechnic.
To accomplish this investigation, the researcher employed the use of questionnaire to source for information. Eight (8) research questions were constructed and respondents were required to express their opinions by ticking the appropriate box. The responses were analyzed using the simple percentage.
      5.2    Major Findings
The basic findings of the study were as follows:
Firstly, it was discovered that among other barriers to effective language communication in Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi- Uku, semantic distortion was the most prevalent.
Secondly, the research established the fact that poor communication adversely affected job performance in the Polytechnic. It further revealed that effective communication enhanced job performance.
Thirdly, the study established the fact that effective language communication facilitated the prevention and resolution of conflict(s) if any arose in the Polytechnic.
Fourthly, it was discovered that rumour mongering in the Polytechnic was inimical to good organizational management. Fifthly, it was discovered that filtering official information created a lot of problems in the Polytechnic.
Furthermore, the research established the fact that differences in staff members background and orientation affected effective language communication in the Polytechnic. When this happened, communication flow was distorted as a result of the different individual perceptions to the same phenomenon.
Finally, it was discovered that the bureaucratic organizational structure of the Polytechnic led to delay in responding to the message communicated.
      5.3    Conclusion

      5.4    Limitation of the Study
The researcher would have loved to study more organizations within and outside the state but was constrained by time, finance and distance. However, the facts gathered from the several books and respondents answers to questions in the administered questionnaire proved very useful, adequate and reliable for the study.
