DATA ANALYSIS / INTERPRETATION
This chapter focuses on the analysis of data generated from research questions, written composition, terminal examinations WAEC and NECO result in English subject from 2014-2016, tapes which contain utterances i.e. pronunciation of words, story felling, reading comprehension passages. The aim of thin chapter is to research questions which have guided thin investigation.
• RESEARCH QUESTION 1: DO you have qualified English language teacher.
From the table below shows the number of teachers, total number of students in the class and number of English teachers in some selected schools in Ilorin west local government of Kwara State.
From the table above, the total number of students from the four selected schools is 1805 total number of teacher 225 and total number of qualified English teacher is 18.
Therefore the percentage of English teachers in the for selected schools can be sum up as 18/225x100=0.8%
The English language teachers carry 8% of the total number of teachers in the four schools and about 102 students to an English teacher.
