RESULT AND DISCUSSION
Result of Data Analysis
This chapter present the analysis of data and results. The analysis was carried out in line with the research hypothesis as highlighted in chapter one. The research hypothesis were analyzed using percentage count and chi-square (x2) statistical tools at significant level of 0.05.
The table above shows the sex distribution of respondents (both the teachers and the students) 55% of the respondents were male (15% were teachers and 40% were students), while 45% of the respondents were female (i.e 5% and 40% were teachers and students respectively).
The above table shows the educational qualification of the selected geography teachers 25% of the teachers were NCE/OND holders, 50% of the teachers were B.Sc(ed), HND holders, while 25% of the teachers were M.Sc(Ed) holders. Therefore, majority of the teachers teaching geography in selected schools are B.Sc(Ed) holders.
Hypothesis 1: There is no significant difference in the performance of the students taught with instructional materials and those taught without instructional materials
