Research Hypothesis Three
There is no significant difference in the acquisition of knowledge and skills in schools with qualified geography teachers and schools without qualified geography teachers.
Table 4 shows the calculated X2 analysis of the respondents response on the acquisition of knowledge and skills in schools with qualified geography teachers and schools without qualified geography teachers. The table shows calculated X2 value of 55.04 which is greater than the table value of 21.026 at a degree of freedom 12 at 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, the significant difference exists in the respondents’ responses. Consequently, the null hypothesis is rejected, therefore, acquisition of knowledge and skills are better developed under schools with qualified geography teachers.
