Research Hypothesis Five
There is no significant difference in the level of students participation in schools with qualified geography teachers and in schools without qualified geography teachers.
Table 6 shows the calculated X2 analysis of the respondents’ responses on the differences between level of students participation in schools with qualified geography teachers and schools without qualified geography teachers. The table shows the calculated X2 value of 59.47 which is greater than the table value of 21.026 at a degree of freedom of 12 at 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, significant differences exists in the respondents’ responses. Hence, hypothesis therefore rejected. This indicated that level of students participation in schools with qualified geography teachers null be higher compare to schools without qualified geography teachers.
