      SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
      The study was to find out the effect of teachers qualification on the secondary school students performance in geography in external examination in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State. The related literature were reviewed on teachers attributes  in the teaching and learning of geography, Teachers Education for knowledge upgrading, students performance in secondary school geography and its relevance, secondary school education, differentiation in the learning and teaching of Geography.
      In attempt to carry out this researchwork fully, a self structured questionnaire consisted of two sections (A&B) was used in gathering information for the study on those identified variables. The instrument was personally administered by the researcher herself and research assistance and collected back from the respondents immediately to prevent misplacement of any copy of the questionnaire. The results were then analyzed using frequency count, percentages and inferential statistics of chi-square to test the hypotheses used for the study. Based on the findings of the study, certain conclusions were arrived at which eventually led to certain recommendations made by the researcher.
      Conclusion
          Based on the findings of this study, researcher concludes as follows:
      i.    Schools with qualified geography teachers are more likely to record better students academic performance in geography in external examination
      ii.    Teaching and learning of geography are made easy in the schools with qualified geography teachers
      iii.    Acquisition of knowledge and skills are better developed in schools with qualified geography teachers
      iv.    Students level of readiness are more likely to be high and encouraging in schools with qualified geography teachers
      v.    Level of students participation in schools with qualified geography teachers will be higher
      Recommendation
          Based on the findings of this research work, the following recommendations are made by the researcher
      i.    Through screening need to be conducted before appointing teachers
      ii.    Qualified teachers who are ready to work must be appointed to schools
      iii.    Secondary school teachers must be academically articulate in has area of specialization as this will encourage the students to learn easily
      iv.    Teachers must be effective and efficient in his/her subject delivery
      v.    Teaching and learning must cater for students individuation principles
      Suggestion for Further Studies
          This study finds out the effect of teachers qualification on the secondary school students performance in geography in external examination in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State. However, further researches can be carried out in other parts of the state and outside the state to ascertain not only the effect of teachers qualification on the secondary school students performance in geography in external examination in Kajola Local Government alone but also to know how available the qualified geography teachers are in the schools.
      The following topics were suggested for further researches:
      1.    A replica of these research work using different variables and different geographical locations to allow a reasonable comparison of the findings.
      2.    Effect of teachers’ experience on the academic performance of SSS students in Geography in the external examinations.
      3.    Influence of audio-visual aids on the academic performance of SSS students in Geography in the external examinations.
