      RESULTS
      Introduction
          This chapter presents the results of the data collected as the respondents expressions of their opinions about the need for guidance and Counselling services in primary school.
      Descriptive Data
          Distribution of respondent by gender, religion, educational qualification and year of teaching experience were presented in a logical manner.


      Table 1 shows the distribution of the respondents based on gender. The analysis revealed that 137 (68.5%) of the respondent are male while 63(31.5%) are female.


      Table 2 shows the distribution of the respondent based on religion. The analysis revealed that 141(70.5%) of them belong to Christianity, 57(28.5%) were Muslim while the remaining 2(1.0%) were of others.
