    •   According to National clearing house on family violence, (1999). Drug abuse refers to the inappropriate use of any drug or mood uttering substance. It can result in person, family, health, social, legal and financial problems. Drug abuse is use that occurs: -
      -    Too frequently
      -    In excessive amounts
      -    In the wrong combination with other drugs
      There are different types of drugs, it includes: -
      1.    Alcohol
      2.    Drug such as solvents, cocaine, amphelamines, marijuana, cannabis heroin etc.
      3.    Tobacco
      Alcohol
          According to Boyum and Kleiman (1995), for young people in particular, alcohol is strongly related to traffic injuries, violence and high risk of sexual activity. Alcohol use is the nom among Canadian adults but uncontrolled alcohol use in terms of drinking to excess or while driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol produce not only fatalities and serious traffic accidents but inappropriate role modeling for youth.
          Excessive alcohol consumption when begun early in life not only leads to chronic liver disease and cirrhosis and alcoholic, psychosis, but also is implicated in unintentional injuries and deaths, including traffic injuries and also social and economic problems (Harkin, Anderson and Good, 1997). Examples of alcohol are beer, wine and liquor.
