RESULTS
Introduction
This chapter present the analysis of the data collected, the interpretation of which is based on hypotheses generated in chapter one. The data collected were analysed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and t-test statistical tools.
This study aimed at finding out the perception of undergraduate of Ilorin on the factors responsible for females’ involvement in drug use.
Other variables of interest include the respondents’ gender, age, marital status and religion.
Descriptive Data
Demographic Data of the Sample
This section shows the analysis of the demographic data collected from the study in terms of their frequencies and percentages. These data are presented in a tabular form to give a vivid picture of the information.
Table 1 indicates that 100 males’ respondents participated in the study representing 50% of the total sample. The table further reveals that 100 females’ respondents participated in the study amounting to 50% of the total sample.
