Table 10 reveals that the calculated t-value is .97 while critical t-value is 1.96, since the calculated t-value is less than the critical t-value, the null hypothesis is which stated that “there is no significant difference in the factors responsible for females’ involvement in drugs abuse as perceived by respondents on the basis of respondents religion is therefore accepted.
Summary of Findings
The analysis and results of the data were presented in a tabular form. The tables shows the distribution of respondents on the basis gender, age, marital status and religion, discipline, it also shows item by item analysis of determinants of drug use.
Table 8 – 11 show the analysis of hypotheses tested, the hypotheses were tested using the t-test and ANOVA statistical procedure. The following results were derived from the analyses of hypotheses and research questions.
1. The major factors responsible for females involvement in drug use were social factors and personal factors.
2. There was a significant difference in the factors responsible for females involvement in drugs use as perceived by male and females respondent.
3. There was a significant difference in the factors responsible for females involvement in drugs use as perceived by respondents on the basis of Age.
4. There was no significant difference in the factors responsible for females’ involvement in drugs use on the basis of martial status of respondents.
5. There was no significant difference in the factors responsible for females involvement in drugs use on the basis of respondents religion.
